Thanks to Kyle for confirming I'm not being overly critical.

This is like a pre-season friendly.

We are a quarter of the way through and nothing has happened.

    Wales 0-0 Bulgaria

This is the point in the game I'd normally be writing about the funny chants the crowd were doing to make their own entertainment.

It's still a very cagey contest.

Cicinho, the Brazilian-born right back making his debut today, looks decent.

However, he also likes to get forward and Daniel James might be able to exploit that.

Gareth Bale was off the pace in Finland on Thursday and, although he's still working his way back to full fitness, he looks a little sharper today.

Coming in from the right wing, he almost gets on the end of a flick-on from Kieffer Moore.

The old Cardiff City-Real Madrid combo there.

I am filling. Nothing has happened in 14 minutes. Weird weather we are having isn't it?

Apologies, I missed out Manchester United on that Kieffer Moore post.

Anyway, United's Wales man, Daniel James, is playing very wide on the left and so far he's struggling to get involved as much as he would like.

Gareth Bale is finding little pockets of space, which will encourage Wales fans.

A cagey start by both sides. Bulgaria playing very deep.

An early touch for Kieffer Moore.

Kieffer Moore eh? Wales have players who play for Real Madrid, Juventus, Liverpool, Tottenham, Chelsea... yet it is a guy at Wigan last season who has made himself a vital component of Ryan Giggs' side.

At the moment he's almost the first name on the team sheet, isn't he?

Wales opt to play a recording of their supporters singing Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau a cappella, which was both eerie and moving at the same time.

Players line up, take a knee for the Black Lives Matter movement and we are ready to go now.

Football without fans feels hollow. We've all seen and felt that since the sport returned from its coronavirus-enforced hiatus.

It might feel even more bereft today when Wales come to sing their national anthem, Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau.

International matches at Cardiff City Stadium are usually brilliantly atmospheric, with the 'Red Wall' - as Wales' players call their fans - belting the anthem at full volume.

That won't be the case today, with no supporters inside the ground to inspire Ryan Giggs' side.

You may not have noticed but goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey made a bit of Welsh footballing history in Helsinki.

He beat the clean sheet record for Wales, a record which was previously held by legendary goalkeeper Neville Southall.
