So that's all from us after a fourth victory in succession from Wales, who really are making a habit of securing late wins.

It was a big, big day for Neco Williams and a great ending to a drab contest.

Wales are back in action in October with a triple-header of away visits as they travel to Wembley for a friendly with England on 8 October before Nations League games in the Republic of Ireland on 11 October and a visit to Bulgaria on 14 October.

So not long until your next international football fix.

Until then, be well and thank you for joining us.

  2. Not vintage, but a deserved winpublished at 16:19 British Summer Time 6 September 2020

    FT: Wales 1-0 Bulgaria

Wales manager Ryan Giggs told Sky Sports: "We kept going which was the main thing, it wasn't easy.

"We've played two teams into their season and far fitter than us.

"It was our best move of the match that got us the goal, Neco was brilliant when he came on the other night and it was the same today.

"He's got loads of quality, confidence in his ability and he has brought new energy to the group.

"He has showed that in both his cameos in the games, I was debating starting him today and I am delighted for him.

"It was a poor performance first half, we stepped up second half. It wasn't vintage, but in the end we got what we deserved I think."

Wales goalscorer Neco Williams told Sky Sports: "To finish off the game like that and get my first goal for my country is a proud moment for me and my family.

"It's all happened so quick, when you are a kid you dream of playing for your country so to get the opportunity is surreal.

"If I keep working hard hopefully I will keep getting chances and like today get more goals.

"Being part of this team is like a family, everyone is really close and help young lads, and the talent we have is unbelievable.

"For the younger players to get the opportunity is a great feeling, we all have to thank Ryan Giggs for that."

Wales captain Gareth Bale told Sky Sports: "Fantastic for Neco and fantastic for us.

"We've been working towards keep going, keep going and being patient and the game wasn't easy.

"Everyone's fitness levels are at different stages, but we fight to the end like we always do for this shirt and we got our reward today.

"We are all going in the same direction.

"We were not good enough in the first half, we had to pick it and we did that.

鈥淭he last game (against Finland) I was struggling but the 45 minutes did me well so I was pleased to get through 90 today.鈥

It was a really poor game, but the mark of a good team is finding a way to win against stubborn sides in poor quality contests.

We mentioned before the game that this Wales team is improving all the time and the way they kept going until the end really underlines that.

Neco Williams was a threat from the moment he came on and Connor Roberts certainly has a fight on his hands to remain Wales' first choice at right back.

    An exhilarating ending.
