Yep. This is definitely a wind up.

Is this some sort of joke? A bogus blog even? Never have I read such bizzare comments. I think you are trying to make a point by proxy. Go on own up and give up some photos of Bute, I am sure it is very beautiful and there must be some aspects you like.

I think you are probably the worst sort of incomer...or just someone trying to get folks' danders up...in which case, commenting here is likely a waste of time and effort. I'm off!
Flying Cat from now I'm really bored
your comments sadly;remind me why i don't do volunteer work anymore! strange how negative people are when they don't volunteer themselves! i bet you are "popular" with the locals!

"voluntary people"? I like the involuntary ones, myself.

mjc, you are right. As lovers of the English language, we must take your point: "voluntary people"? I like the involuntary ones, myself." (Our nephew, N, has just introduced ne to "cut and paste". Very useful.) One to you! Correct and amusing! However, if you are in New Mexico, don't you have enough to sort out over there without correcting our stupid mistakes? Best wishes, J and M

New Mexicans take care of the easy jobs first. As to problems closer to home, we deal with them manana. Or we wait for swallows from California or Texas to tell us what to do. Then we encourage them to go to ...! 'tis the same the world over, I fear.

We have read you comments and have dispatched a crack team of sign erectors to do what they do best, expect lots of brown ones very soon.

The whole idea is that we hope that by not connecting the paths you might just get lost.

Sounds like you want the benefits without the effort. Bute is Beautiful, I've been visiting all my life and had a brilliant Easter week there recently. Bute is a very small community. My brother went up there with a mate to do some work on the garden, his mate went into Rothsay for a drink at the weekend and everyone knew who he was, where he was staying and what he was doing. I doubt that your observations have been overlooked, especially with your wife's plaster cast.
