Yee-ha indeed! Brilliant. What is the power used for specifically?

Jill from EK

My daughter Bethany wants to say hi, so here it is: "Hi!" Ok, your teacher taught her when she was in P7 in Papdale. Beth says she was really nice and read them stories! (Beth is 17 now and obviously has fond memories of P7).

May the good winds blow and your wind turbine last a very long time. How much of your school needs will it provide? Is it cost effective, and are we to expect every backyard in Flotta to have one?

mjc from IN, USA

Well kids the first thing is it produces clean energy (for get about the cost of insalation, over 20 years it will have well and trualy paid for itself) and remember that when you energise an electric motor it also does a Co2 cleanup. I like to hear of the K/M wates put back into the system Have agood day regards to all.

Let me add my congratulations to all the other, long may your turbine twiddle! But do look at the pounds, shillings and pence over the lifetime. It will probably be an interesting calculation.

Barney from Swithiod an echo

we usde the power for the school and then we dont have to pay as much for it so it cuts our electric bill in half.

flottaschool from flotta

we use the power for the computers mainly and the lights

Congratulations Flotta. That's great news that the wind turbine is up and running.

Carol from IBHQ

Congratulations on having the turbine up--hope it works as well as you expect. I will look forward to seeing how it goes!

Thought I had posted before (perhaps the spamster ate it) but wanted to wish you good luck and I will be interested to see if it works as well as you hope.

Turbine is running well. Our last electricity bill was 拢8000 so we hope that we will see quite a difference with the next meter reading
