Welcom to Island Blogging Mull Rugby Sevens, is there a shorter name that we can call you? I'm Graham the mainland-based producer of Island Blogging. I hope you've found it easy enough to get posting. If you want to align the images in your posts to the left or the right you'll find that the text becomes wrapped and looks pretty cool. Happy blogging, Graham p.s. email me at islandblogging@bbc.co.uk

Graham, IBHQ from glasgow

I think I'm there but then maybe there isn't here so then maybe I'm not.

Ruthodanort from Unst

Make it last a week, not just the week-end.

Nic from Coll

Is it definitely the 13th rather than the 6th? Lots of websites I've found have it down as the 6th, but I heard from a friend it was the 13th and you have it as the 13th too. Confusion reigns... :)

Phil from Oban

Yes Phil definately 13th - see the website for more info www.mullrugby.co.uk

pat from mull

Are the talented U18 mull team going to play in this years 7's tournament, they were a real supprise just to how well they did on the day.

Frank from Glasgow

Hi Frank I think they're being kept in reserve this year - to supplement some of the "old" boys ( 10 mins and most of them are knackered) as the tournament wears on. There's a ladies team of Props entered from Edinburgh - a worlds first!

pat@sitemaker1.com from mull

There wont be an U18 team but some of that team will be in the Mull squad for the 7's

Reay from Mull

anyone seen Gibby

Boffee from Mull

Are you playing this year Reay?? Or has the old age finally caught up with you!!

John Mac from New Zealand

Nice to hear from possibly the oldest immigrant ever allowed into the Land of the Long White Cloud. No I'm not playing this year due to work commitments! Maybe next year ? I hope you will tune in to 91热爆 Radio for live coverage of the Sevens this year - not sure what station it is though.

Reay from Mull

this years theme for the mull sevens has been changed to.......Shaun and Gibby: love at first site. Will shaun and gibby keep up the married act and fight all the time..................................................... Find out on May 13

Burgh from burgh

Good to hear from john Mac. How are you? Can anyone tell me if the Mex is commentating this year and is the fat controller required? or is some other mug going to be "tournament Manager"?

chris from ardgour

Hey Big Chris, typical organisation, no contact with the tournament manager and only two weeks until the big day!! They will contact you in a week or so!!!

John Mac from New Zealand

We will be putting up the re-inforced scaffolding for you soon chris. Hey Mac hows it hanging, whens the debut for the All blacks.

James G from Mull

Hi James, all the best for Oban this week and Mull next weekend, still waiting on the call from the All Blacks!!

John Mac from New Zealand

We travelled to Mull hoping to see the Mull Sevens, unfortunately on the wrong weekend as posted by explorescotland.net the events calendar dated the Sevens on the 6th of May(tbc) http://isle.of.mull.com/mull-diary.htm confusion did reign :(

R T+ Team from Edinburgh

What a top weekend. Sun shone all day, dramatic scenery and the rugby wasn't too bad either. Just a pity we got beaten in the final. All that and a quality night on the skite - truely lives up to its name as Scotland's most social 7's tourney.

Viking from Edinburgh

I know there was a lot of drink consumed on Saturday at the 7's but who wrote the report on the Mull rugby club website? 8 mens teams and 4 womens teams!! I am sure there was 16mens teams and 6 womens teams but hey what do I know! I'm only the fat controller.

Chris from Ardgour

Thankyou so much silver, you were truely owsome on the day for us. Looking forward to you and ur brother playing for us next year. :)

GHA from Glasgow

Your right Chris 16 mens teams and 6 womens, still cant get that marker pen off my backside!!

James G from Mull

andrew cullen from u,s.a

Another fab weekend in Mull and it was about time the sun was shining. The drinking and dancing lasted all night as well, good to see the ladies didn't drop in numbers like one of the mens teams!!! - role on Mull 2007!

Pirate from Kirkclady

What's this I hear Chris, of various women waking up the morning after the sevens with their bottoms branded, good stuff!!

John Mac from New Zealand

Yeah, well done girlies lasted the pace as usual...I heard that a few of the guys were blaming drink spiked with Night Nurse on the early bedtime...all I can say is Shandies!!! Roll on next year!

Another Pirate from Kirkcaldy
