feather stitch

last weeks stitch was feather stitch one of my favs, Mrs Christy had several variations including one called chained feather, which was quite time consuming to do but looks like flower buds on a stem, I like the closed feather and found it good as a couching stitch, this week is fly stitch which I have not started yet but I bought 4 DVD鈥檚 yesterday so I think a little escapism is on the horizon,

Don't leave us dangling, IT. What are the DVDs' titles?

mjc from IN, USA

yes, I want to know as well:)

guzzisue from Nottingham,

you will be disappointed as they are not new films but old ones, reduced prices, the film 'Rising Damp' I loved the sitcom and have not seen the film, well I didn't even know there was one, 'Sabrina' with Bogart and Audrey Hepburn I love them both, directed by Billy Wilder, I think somewhere is my distant past I have seen this on the telly, 'A Place in the Sun' with Liz Taylor and Montgomery Clift, with those 2 probably heavy, 'A Rather English Marriage' with Albert Finney, Tom Courtenay and Joanna Lumley, all good actors/actress, you know what curiosity did to the cat so I hope you are still with us.....

"A Place in the Sun" should be fun. Personally, the old Gone with the Wind is an all-time favorite, and I could watch The Snows of Kilimanjaro again, not to mention Casablanca and the Guns of Navarone. Wonder what other ibloggers would like to see again on DVD?

mjc from IN,USA

already have Gone with the Wind and Casablanca, never seen The Snows of Kikmanjaro, Guns of Navarone was one of my Dad's favs, a friend came to visit today and we went for a walk to the nearest beach, I wondered if we could get back on my side of the Burn, we did well and could see the house till we hit a barage of sheep fence so ended up paddling across the burn and scwelching down the road past the Dell Mill, felt like kids again and enjoyed ourselves ;o)
