Wow!!! Was that the longest ever sentence without drawing breath or even going puce in the face on islandblogging?? Your camellia is lovely and a Very Brave Thing To Grow Indeed and I think you may be right to be afeared of the climate, but then we're not that brave to try it! And...your bath re-enamelling is a terrific success and will prove its worth over many many years.

with the sun shinning in the bathroom I think I need sun glasses or I'll go bath/snow blind, thanks for all comments, I think I might investigate larger pots for the camellia and see what is around as I would hate to loose it now, wish I had taken a photo of it when i got it, haven't seen a wabbit since I wrote this blog post,

Camellia looks very healthy, IT. Six years, eh? You must have the patience of a saint. How about finding a light weight pot. 'course you could try to bonsai the camellia. I have never heard it done, but then no one thought of bonsai-ing a coconut tree until Barney came along. Next thing you know the elf from Swithiod will be asking the children of Fetlar why they don't give their palm the bonsai treatment.

If you're putting it in a bigger pot IT, can you get hold of one of those wheelie useful patio pot trundly things. It might save your back...

I was wondering about a wheelie thing myself but can't do anything till the autumn now, so will make decisions then,
