We've got Lino cuts in the kitchen, from the time Herself dropped the scissors, ( not me this time ), but, that apart, what is a lino cut?

IS, these are stunning; I love them; they're just too good......how do you get the lino to imprint so well onto fabric? What sort of paint did you use? Is it all machine embroidery? Did you embroider before quilting? And if so, how did you quilt - machine, hand, tufting.........?

Very nice. You certainly are very talented. I suspect Santa Fe could incorporate you into their art scene.

thanks everyone for the nice comments, they are really appreciated, I will do a post explaining methods later in the week, I am pleased you asked how as I have been wondering just how ‘arty’ I can get without boring people too much but I guess those who are bored can just move on to the next blog,

mjc I know SF has a wonderful artist community and would love to visit it, I enjoyed my visits to NM in the early 1990’s and would love to visit again the scenery is amazing, the Thirteen moons gallery used to display textile art but I have heard the new owner has moved away from textiles :o(
