Gee whizz, sounds as if your area is a quilter's paradise, and certainly the right place for anyone who wishes to learn the craft!!

We have something similar on the wall of the coven in Skigersta.

I especially love this - the textures of the lace, the bobbins, the colors - everything! And I enjoyed the wonderful photos of your trip...

Yes mjc there is quiet a lot going on for a small island but Shetland is where lots happens as they have a 2 year textiles course at their college and I am longing to know/see the quilts they send down to Loch Lomond,

So where is this coven in Skigersta? perhaps that鈥檚 where Calum and Donald will find the love of their life,

Thanks Conni, I really enjoyed working on this and want to make more in this style when time allows,

I thought Orkney College had a textiles course too. I'm afraid it may be beyond even the powers of witchcraft to get those two paired off, Donald in particular after his unfortunate accident on the cormorant twizzlers production line.
