You're joking, about the Lewis quilt group meeting, aren't you? Is this quilt one of those things that different people see different images? Like those ink-blotter things. I see one of the 7 Dwarfs ( or vertically challenged men ) sitting in a chair, with his hands clasped, with 3 ties in the background just above his head. Am I correct? Are those the crayons that you used, either side of Grumpy? ( well I think it's Grumpy ) And do you do a Rolf Harris "Can you see what it is yet?" Just being curious, or nosey. Have I asked too many questions? Oh 1 more what are the dimensions? This is really the last question, My daughter ( little herself ) likes those sort of quilt things, so where does one purchase a quilt? Many thanks for your pictures. I like it, it's different, and this type of different is good.

Tws, you don't BUY quilts, you make them. Little herself could learn - maybe even from the Lewis Quilters. Mpu would volunteer like a shot, but for really not wanting to live on Lewis......

Right now, I've been doing some thinking, and I read on Little moo-moo things that go moo in the night's blog, that you can do things, and if you ( Island Threads and not FC ) can post where, how, when, then maybe this could be my niche. If that's alright with you IT.

Stick to the prayerful farming blog, the whitesettler. You could bid for a share of the lady's quilt sewing machine. A sewing machine for quilts: what's this world coming to?! Oh well (sigh) ... it's a free country. Back to the News of the World ...

FC: wife and I inherited 2, acquired a wonderful one at the Albuquerque Daylily Auction (a local quilters association gives their finished products to local non-profits for fund raisers: generous). I would not be good at quilting, and so, if I want a nice one, I am forced either to buy one, wait for a gift or find someone willing to do a fair exchange. Problem for folks like myself is that most quilters are fanatics who - quite understandably - want to hang on to their beautiful products.
