Wow I need earplugs and dark glasses for this one, but others may think differently, it's only an opinion after all. I thought that your "BABY BLOCKS" were 1st class.

Quilts, I love them. I think this is a bit too loud for me, But still checking your blogs, for that extra special eyecatcher.

Is that a close relation of Flying Geese? And a bit of Stained Glass?

thanks thewhitesettle (see no breaks) for your 1st on the baby blocks, AcutelyCurious the links in my side bar are more quiltmakers, Dijanne does some fantastic work, Flying Cat, they are very large flying geese and arranged in this going around pattern, probably explains why it's called a Puzzle ~ no way out! but a lot of Flying these blocks will all be in the same Sample Quilt with plain black between them......one day!!!

Beautiful quilts. As bed covers hand stitched quilts give the impression of coziness and luxury at the same time. Tell me, would embroidery stitches - mentioned in a previous posting - add rather than diminish (too much of a muchness) the immediate visual impact of the quilt? # Also, I understand a sample block as part of the evaluation work prior to doing a quilt - am I correct?. But what is a sample quilt (unless you plan to replicate)?

Yes mjc a sample is often a tryout so a sample quilt is lots of tryout blocks joined together, but when you know you are going to join the blocks you choose your fabric and blocks with this in mind so it comes together,
