Well I was going to start blogging again in the autumn but autumn has gone and it’s nearly new year so if I am going to start again I’d better get a move on, well I used to blog all my arty stuff on my blogger Island Threads but when I deleted it in the summer a ‘spam’ blog has taken over the name, which brings me to an e mail I received about my island threads blog, what island threads blog?
Then I remembered I had started a beeb island threads blog, the e mail was from Patricia Macindoe who left a comment on the previous post wishing to know if there were any quilters on Lewis, well there is and the outcome is a display of Quilts at An Lanntair, if you visit Stornoway please take a look at the quilts and pick up a voting form and vote for the 5 you like best, the 5 chosen quilts will join 25 quilts from 5 other islands to be Exhibited as ‘30 of the Best from the Islands’ at the Loch Lomond Quilt show in May 2007, the other islands entering quilts I think are Islay, Shetland, Arran, Orkney and Skye.
Well now I have started I will try to keep up, I enjoy reading all your posts but what ‘really’ takes time is reading and laughing at the 30, 40, 50 odd comments on some blogs, Happy New Year everyone.

Spoilsports! I wanted to see them too. A cat can always utilise a quilt.
