i notice the web page says fladda is the largest of the slate islands, this is obviously a mistake, is it meant to say it is the smallest slate island?

Hello, nothing to do with your posts I'm afraid.... although I am glad to see life on the island. I'm interested to see someone posting from Fladda using the internet -as at the moment I am using the internet and software to research and document my family tree that includes cousins of mine from Fladda (I have cousins in Raasay, mostly Nicolsons), including "The Handies" Gillies. If you are interested in local history and have a bit of time to help me out, I'd appreciate making the contact... andrew_d_mackenzie@hotmail.com thanks and regards. Good Luck! Andrew

Hi there, I was wondering if this blog is still on since it has been a while the last comment was being sent. I would like to know more about the Island of "Fladda", since "Fladda" happens to be my family name. I might just claim rights on the property of the isle (just joking!!!). So - if there is still a living soul out there at "my" isle who can tell me some more about it, please contact me under: flatmail@arcor.de

Rather cool site you've got here. Thanks for it. I like such topics and everything that is connected to this matter. I definitely want to read more soon.
