I started with singing in the church choir as a soloist, then the student choir at my university and with the male choir of Lviv. My serious vocal training began with my first teacher, Orest Sydyr, in January 2012. After just six months I did my first recital and took part in my first competition, the Mykola Lycenko International Music Competition. Since then, I started to work seriously on the roles of Monterone and Sparafucile in Rigoletto, and I hope to audition as Monterone at Lviv Opera.

Since January 2014 I have continued my vocal training with Professor Bogdan Bazylykut, and have taken part in various concerts and in the Icydora Vymera International music festival for young artists.

I’m interested in literature and different kinds of music starting with opera – Verdi in particular. I am also keen on classical music in general and have a particular interest in sacred songs. In my spare time, I enjoy sports and cooking.
