About Stevie and his team
Stevie Bee runs the Carnival Academy in Southampton.
All performers on P & O cruise ships pass through here to learn the song and dance routines featured in the on-board entertainment which passengers expect to be top notch.
In his role as the creative director, Stevie ensures that every new cast that joins a P & O ship is up to scratch, as well as coming up with the concepts of shows.
A former perfomer himself, he now gets his kicks from seeing an appreciative audience watching a show that he鈥檚 devised and directed.
Sea City follows a new cast that are heading for P & O鈥檚 Aurora on a round the world cruise.
There are 13 in total - five principal singers and eight dancers.
They鈥檝e got their work cut out - they must learn and rehearse eight shows at the Academy in just two months before setting sail.
For singer Jackie-Ross Lavender it鈥檚 his first time out of the country, let alone being on a ship.
And for Jamie-Lee edge, the job is a step nearer to her dreams of being as famous of Jane Macdonald, a vocalist who made her career on cruise ships.
