Chase Wyeth works for his family's marine towage firm in Southampton.
About Chase
Chase didn鈥檛 really intend to end up working for the family marine towage firm, but he started working for his dad before going to college.
He found that he loved it, especially the variety of the job.
Sea City follows him on a day when he has to take a barge of sludge down the Itchen river and deliver it for the next stage of reprocessing across Southampton Water.
A fully laden barge weighs over 1000 tonnes, and he carefully pushes (not pulls) it strapped to the front of his tug.
Chase has to navigate tricky river bends and tides - and the additional hazards of narrow and low bridges.
It鈥檚 a skilful job, and one in which he takes enormous pride, despite the odd hours playing havoc with his social life!
