Kemperi is 75 years old and has seen a lot of change in his life. His family were first contacted around thirty years ago and he’s now living in a village with electricity and mobile phones. Whilst the youth might communicate through WhatsApp, Kemperi’s trances allow him to access information from all over the territory.

He finds the jaguar spirit in his trances and together they fly through the forest and learn what’s happening. He absolutely loved watching the screen of our drone footage as it flew over the canopy. It brought real joy to him for others to see the forest as he does in his trances.
