The milk drinking group
The milk drinking group were asked to drink one litre of milk per day split in to 3 parts: 333ml of milk before every meal.
There are two theories put forward behind drinking this much milk a day.
Firstly, being protein-rich, it may make you less hungry and help you eat less other food.
Secondly, the calcium in milk is thought to bind to fat that you eat and stop you absorbing as much.
But this wasn’t borne out in our experiment.
