Helen is COO of Accounting for Sustainability (A4S), a charity founded by his Majesty King Charles III when he was Prince of Wales to transform finance to deliver a sustainable future. A4S works with the global finance and accounting community to inspire finance leaders to adopt sustainable and resilient business models, transform financial decision making to enable an integrated approach reflective of the opportunities and risks posed by environmental and social issues, and scale up action. As COO, Helen leads the business functions of the organization and ensures it is implementing its strategy and measuring its impact.
Helen’s career is driven by two areas of purpose– contributing to the development of society through mission-driven organizations and contributing to the success of those organizations by enabling them to be more effective. She has over twenty five years’ experience with organizations including Plan International, the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Age UK.
Helen has an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, a BA in South Asian Studies from SOAS University of London, and is a Fellow of the RSA.
