Recording and evaluating
It is important to know how you're playing sounds, as this will help you to:
- recognise your strengths
- identify areas that you need to improve
Use a mark sheet from your school or a simple sheet you have created yourself to write comments. You could also use a section of your log book to include comments you, your peers or your teacher have about your performance.
You can also include a video of a performance you have done in class, at home or in public.
An audio recording is another good source of evidence for a practice session or lesson. This can be the full session or even just key parts of it.
You should also keep your practice log as evidence.
