Michael: United to be fair have had 2 really good chances. Same issues that keep getting mentioned - if they could actually finish a chance they could be a top team!

Fletch: Is anyone really surprised that Lindelof, Maguire, and Shaw are a terrible center back trio? I thought this was old news. With a defense like that, United are lucky to only be down 3

    RB Leipzig 2-0 Man Utd

Clever foul by Leipzig's Kevin Kampl to stop Bruno Fernandes starting a United counter. It was early enough in the break to avoid a yellow.

  5. Postpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Chelsea 1-1 Krasnodar

    Much better from the visitors!

Krasnodar's number 10 Wanderson works some space for a shot at the end of a neat passing move, but his attempt is well blocked.

  6. SUBSTITUTIONpublished at 21:16 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    RB Leipzig 2-0 Man Utd

Leipzig make two changes as Justin Kluivert and Yussuf Poulsen replace Emil Forsberg and Dani Olmo.

  7. Postpublished at 21:15 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    RB Leipzig 2-0 Man Utd

Bruno Fernandes' free-kick deserves better. He whips in an almost perfect ball from the right which three different players are inches away from.

  8. 'Leipzig not out of their own half yet'published at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    RB Leipzig 2-0 Man Utd

    Phil Neville
England Women manager on 91Èȱ¬ Radio 5 Live

Leipzig haven't got out of their own half yet they're all behind the ball, the wingers are back to almost playing full-backs really. Much more positive from Man United.

Barcelona 3-0 behind at the Nou Camp! They really are a shambles this season.

  10. Postpublished at 21:14 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Chelsea 1-1 Krasnodar

Faustino Anjorin cuts in onto his right foot and earnes a corner with his curled shot.

Krasnodar defend it well but, similarly to the opening stages of the first half, they're stuck inside their own half.

    Barcelona 0-3 Juventus

Cristiano Ronaldo is on a hat-trick!

He nets his second penalty of the night to give Juventus a commanding lead at the Nou Camp.

As it stands, Juve are going to win Group G and Barca are going to be unseeded in next Monday's last-16 draw.

    RB Leipzig 2-0 Man Utd

United's corners come to nothing. RB Leipzig counter and win a free-kick off Scott McTominay. Wonder if that's the pattern of this half now.

  13. Postpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Chelsea 1-1 Krasnodar

If it stays like this - or gets better for Chelsea - it will be 17 games unbeaten.

Third in the Premier League and comfortably through to the Champions League last 16 as group winners... It's been a rather satisfying start to the season for Frank Lampard, hasn't it?

  14. Postpublished at 21:11 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    PSG 0-0 Istanbul Basaksehir

A Uefa statement says: "Following an alleged incident involving the fourth official, the match was temporarily suspended. After consultation with both teams, it was agreed that the match would restart with a different fourth official.

"Uefa will thoroughly investigate the matter and further communication will be made in due course."

Still no sign of the visiting players though.

We are paying for our lack of ability to sign 'good enough ' defenders for football at this level. Solskjaer has lost this team or the team has lost him. Either way it doesn't really matter.

    Stan

Maybe this was part of Pogba's plan... disrupt the club, disrupt the team, save the game.

It's another corner to United, who have looked better since the break.

  17. Postpublished at 21:09 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    RB Leipzig 2-0 Man Utd

Early United attack as Donny van de Beek gets the ball in the box but his pass to Marcus Rashford is cut out.

Now Van de Beek ghosts in behind and wins a corner.

  18. Postpublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    Chelsea 1-1 Krasnodar

No changes from either side at the interval.

Chelsea begin on the front foot but Faustino Anjorin is beaten to the ball at the byline.

  19. Postpublished at 21:08 Greenwich Mean Time 8 December 2020

    RB Leipzig 2-0 Man Utd

The Red Devils have only been two goals behind at half-time six times before in Champions League history.

They have only avoided defeat once - a 2-2 draw at Lyon in 2004.

Just looking at pictures from inside the tunnel at the Parc des Princes and PSG players seem to be warming up just in case. Expecting a statement from Uefa any moment now - reports in France said the game could get under way in the next 10 minutes. I can't see any Istanbul players in the tunnel at the moment. We're just waiting to see if the game can get going again but PSG players are warming up just in case.
