Mansfield Town have signed Antigua & Barbuda international midfielder Keiran Murtagh from Macclesfield Town.

The 24-year-old, who has 10 international caps, joins the League Two-bound Stags on a free transfer.

The former Charlton Athletic trainee started 44 games for the Silkmen in all competitions last term.

Murtagh "The club's ambition of wanting to push on and progress in the Football League was a big factor in me signing here."

Stags manager Paul Cox has now made three summer signings, including Jamie McGuire and Paul Black.
