Shared universalism. Not sure if that makes me feel better or worse about things but thank you.

Words to stir the imagination ... without it we would lead colourless lifes. There is something about the ocean that stirs the most hardened soul, and somewhere I have read that the space between the earth and the sea, that area of tidal movement, is the most restful place to be. Neither land nor sea ... does it perhaps hark us back to an ancient past?

I discovered your blog through 91热爆 home page. I am an American who married a Scotsman and started a blog to help me make sense of this beautiful new world. I especially liked today's post about looking at the bay because I coudl never tire of looking at the water. My blog is on www.highlandhome.blogspot.com if you would like to visit me there.

Davy G, I'd be so glad if it had made you feel better rather than worse. I wonder were you ever visited by the muse. This can make the difference between yes and no. I think.

Plaid from The Outback, Australia : ...colourless lives it would be indeed if we could not "stand and stare". And yes, I agree, that there is something in the ocean to touch the spirit of man. "The space between earth and sea", exceedingly inspiring to visit. I believe that it takes us to the very recesses of our mind ( the brain - still unfathomed ) You can also have a feeling of being at one with the universe.

Sharon Pottinger from Caithness, Glad you enjoy your new world and also seaside scenes. Caithness is bound to have some tremendous sea scapes - just like Tiree. I feel that it is gentle on the mind to view it. will visit your blogspot.
