Blogging again - well !!!1

I haven't blogged for a long time, but here I am signing in again. A lot of water has gone under the bridge since I last wrote, in January I think. I had a lot of computer trouble and wasn't able to solve the problem till a new one was purchased. I am therfore blessed with a new machine from whichI hope to get a long time of joy and satisfaction.
Summer is with us again; the last few days have been good; warm and sunny. It is strange how even a day of good sunny weather can bring out the best in our surroundings; what a lift it gives us; but it is still hard for me to come to terms with one or two good days then a few days of winter like conditions. I can't help thinking that at a time such as this the predictions regarding our climate upset are nothing but true.
Think of it, my father used to relate that when he was a boy the boots were discarded in April or May and weren't worn again till October. This a clear indication of some what of a change some where along the line; I'm sure that I haven't made a serious mistake regard the present situtation.
Well folks we'll soon be into the Autumn and this will be our last chance to enjoy good sunny days, but going on recent years the winter could be mild. Though, no evidence remains of stackyards brimming over with hay stacks and corn stacks. Is this also the appearance of nothing less than a big change. Really, I don't think that I am misinformed.

Welcome back. I'm sure the weather was always better in 'olden times'. I blame the weather forecasters, often we've decided it's a dodgy day weather-wise before it's even started.

Arran has been steeped in glorious sunshine for weeks and it looks like it might just stay this way for the summer! There's been plenty of down pours at night which no one really minds, apart maybe last Saturday night after party in the park in Whiting Bay when everyone missed the busses and were hitching or hanging about when the heavens opened. I got soaked but in a good way. Haven't seen it this nice since summers of '76 & '77. bodes for a cold winter though, just like the olden days, that's before Chernobyl which did horrible things as we all who remember it know.
