As I commence with this blog the month of January has disippeared into the past. It doesnt seem so long since we celebrated the New Year fresh and unblemshed. We are well on the way now !!!

During the last week or more, the weather took a turn for the better, and we had some mild dry days and, a day or two ago, brilliant sunshine; enough to gladden the spirit of anyone !!!

But I wonder if we can allow ourselves to become complacent, in view of the fairly recent and the past experience regarding the weather, to the disgust of us older yins.

We find it so easy to take on board all that is said regarding Climate Change and how the whole of nature seems to be in some sort of turmoil due to the general warming up of the planet. It is then little wonder that many would in any way have hope as regards the prophesied demise of our surroundings.

Wind turbines, although not the most ideal, and to many, not the most acceptable problem solvers; I still would say that every step taken to make clear that we are addressing the problem to the best of our ability, while we still seek to produce more congenial methods- to please all I'm sure, that we must have have a paitent outlook.
