Good greif Island Wanderer, your going round in circles
Noddy from Slumberland
While I agree with you on the wind farms, is it not time that money was used to expand research into wave power and solar power

"Going round in circles," surely not!... maybe a bit obscure. Although "go round in circles," is something I do qute often. As far as the blog in question is concerned:-
(1)Not only do some people say we can't tolerate wind farms but they don't want to have them ... they are not friendly to the enviornment or peoples' physical wellbeing.
(2) The country and the devolved government are quite adamant that wind power must prevail to reach a peak by the year 2020.
(3) I am not for the absolute use of wind farms and see it get out of hand. A completely littered countryside is not desirable. Is not wave power on the way?
(4) Well, America won't do anything to aleviate global warming or climate change. But that does not mean that other counteries are going to evade the issue. Every little bit counts in what is a serious condition,

Maggie,
Money is being used to develope wave power; and wave power is a relevent power source for the future. Wind farms then, are not going to be the only option - not a bad prospect I'd say.

So, Island Wanderer, what is your definition of 'out of proportion' ? when a 20 MW windfarm is build next to your house? But even more alarmingly, you believe all the government tells you. I reckon you have 'selective believing' as you obviously don't believe the government when the say nuclear power is safe ! so why believe their lies over windfarms?
