Lord Clarence Aberdare
Lord Aberdare played an active role in the organisation of the Olympics; he served on the International Olympic Committee and on the organising committee of the 1948 Summer Olympics in London.
Along with Burghley he was determined to ensure that the 1948 London Olympic Games would be remembered forever, inspite of the fact that they were set against a country on its knees after WW2.
John Bird
John studied at Cambridge University and joined the Royal Court Theatre, where he later became associate artistic director. He has appeared in television productions That Was The Week That Was; Not So Much a Programme, More a Way of Life; A Very Peculiar Practice, My Father Knew Lloyd George, Bremner, Bird and Fortune and Absolute Power.
