Orenthal James Simpson was born in San Francisco, California in 1947. He was named one of the best amateur American Football players while at the University of Southern California.
As a professional player, Simpson joined the Buffalo Bills as a running back in 1969, and was affectionately known as ‘The Juice’. Here he set league records until joining the San Francisco 49ers in 1978. He retired from professional American Football in 1980.
Simpson had already started acting during his time as an athlete. After retiring, he became a sportscaster for ‘Monday Night Football’ and continued to act most notably in the ‘Naked Gun’ trilogy of comedy films.
He first met in 1977, when she was working at a waitress in a nightclub. They married in 1985 and had two children. In 1989 he pleaded no contest to spousal abuse and Nicole filed for divorce in 1992.
When Nicole is found stabbed to death, it doesn’t take long for people to suspect her ex-husband.
