The new property trap affecting thousands
91热爆owners who bought their properties under complicated leasehold deals have told the Victoria Derbyshire programme of spiralling costs and a fear they will have nothing left to pass onto their children.
Those affected don't own the land their houses are built on, and in some cases that land is literally being bought and sold beneath their feet.
The government says it is about to announce "radical proposals" to overhaul the system.
