Heron homemakers
Janet Sumner visits the nature reserve at Coney Island on Lough Neagh in the company of warden Peter McClelland. The island is a nesting site for the grey heron, the UK's largest and most widespread predatory bird. During the mating season the female's bill changes from yellow to bright pink.
