Star attraction
Birdwatchers have come to see the black-necked grebe. Despite being only two miles from Warrington, the Woolston Eyes reserve looks like southern Europe. All sorts of species turn up here. The speciality of the day is the black-necked grebe. A pair do a courtship display - worth the trip. There is always somewhere new to find and explore if you're a birder.
