Splendid jobs
At Chanonry Point on the Moray Firth, Chris Packham spots some dunlin in summer plumage. Down south you usually only see them in their grey-brown winter plumage. But these birds are splendid. A few dunlin do breed in Scotland, so these birds are either late migrants about to head for Scandinavia or are feeding up before they head for the nesting areas on the Scottish mountains.
