This week, Yorkshire-born songwriter Billie Marten plays live.

Billie, from Ripon, released her fourth studio album, Drop Cherries, this summer. It follows her acclaimed records Writing of Blues and Yellows, Feeding Seahorses by Hand and Flora Fauna.

Having just returned from a US tour, Billie drops into the Folk Show's Salford studio to sing live.
