A desperate search begins for a missing Nicole. Murray tries to rekindle the romance with Gina. Liz struggles to stay strong for Malcolm when their worst fears are confirmed.

The Brodie's are decorating their house. It's Nicole's 16th birthday and she's due back from the trip to France. Michael discovers from Christina that Nicole never went to France. Michael placates a worried Leyla. He's determined to check with Conor, Adeeb and Nicole's friends to find out where Nicole is hiding. However Michael gets increasingly worried and calls the police. When the police and Michael come to Christina's door she lies about what she knows. But Michael and Tatiana don't believe her and Christina storms out to find Nicole. Nicole is actually having fun with Cameron in a city based bedsit. She knows he's a friend of Stevie's and is pleased when Cameron tells her Stevie is busy sorting out a flat for them all. Christina arrives and tells Nicole all about the fuss she's creating. Back in Sheildinch DC Grant takes charge of Nicole's case. She tells Michael that Stevie Burns has been tracked down - he's in jail. A desperate Michael visits Stevie and it becomes clear that Cameron has been lying to Nicole. Back at the bedsit Cameron has charmed the ladies. Christina spies an opportunity to help Nicole and offers to get her some cash to tide her over. She heads home and steals the cash out of the family tea caddy, accidentally smashing it on her way out. Stevie is concerned that Nicole is missing he calls Nicole's phone but Christina, now back at the bedsit, answers. Christina is horrified to discover that Cameron has been lying and breaks the news to a gutted Nicole. When Cameron arrives back he tries to convince Nicole he only lied to protect her but Christina begs Nicole to come home. Christina returns to the Brodie's and tells them where Nicole is. However by the time Michael and Gabriel get to the bedsit, she's already left. Christina picks Cameron out of a mug shot and the Brodie family are devastated to find out he's known as a procurer of young girls for sex. An upset Conor and Adeeb sneak out to look for her, arguing with Gina outside the Oyster in the process. Back at their second squat an evil Cameron takes a picture of a sleeping Nicole - he's selling her to the highest bidder!

At Gina's flat Murray is packing up his things ready to move out. GINA feels guilty and Murray decides he needs to show Gina he can be spontaneous. He buys a sports car and turns up in Montego Street hoping to impress Gina. However she's annoyed that he's wasting his cash when he refused to help her with the Oyster's finances. Murray later cooks a meal for Gina to say sorry. When Gina breaks down about Malcolm Murray supports her and one thing leads to another as they both seek comfort from one another. Afterwards GINA is slightly horrified at accidentally sleeping with Murray. She tries to let him down gently, blaming the caf茅. Murray realises he could help and gives Lenny a cheque for his share in the Oyster. A sly Lenny gives the cheque to Gina and she's furious with Murray for going behind her back. When he desperately tries to kiss her she throws him out. Murray gets blind drunk at the Tall Ship, and ends up calling Gina, Scarlett, Annie and Eillen sluts and trollopes! A furious Eileen throws Murray out into the gutter. He heads to his car to sleep there for the night. He's a man at rock bottom.

Liz is still worried about Malcolm being ill. Whilst Malcolm is stoic about his doctor's appointment that afternoon and annoyed by the fuss, Liz is struggling to cope and tries to pretend everything is ok. Later she cancels Malcolm's consultation with Dan, unable to cope with what she might find out. However it becomes clear that Malcolm wants to find out what's going on sooner rather than later. At the Deli Liz bumps into Robbie and he explains how his family were affected by dementia. Liz realises she needs to try to support Malcolm. However when Robbie Google's the symptoms and prints out some information Liz breaks down - it's all too much. Back at her flat Liz finds Malcolm talking to Dan and has to confess she cancelled the appointment because she's scared. Malcolm comforts her. However later during the consultation the reality of the situation sinks in for Malcolm. He's terrified he might have dementia. Liz realises that she now has to be the strong one. That evening she takes out the information Robbie printed out for her, determined to face this thing head on.

Meanwhile Bob and Stella have returned from their honeymoon. However they realise that Scarlett is still upset with them for eloping. They arrange for Jimmy to take Scarlett to the Tall Ship that evening. When Scarlett walks in it looks as thought there could be trouble, but at the sight of the happy couple Scarlett melts. She orders champagne and gets stuck in looking at honeymoon photos.
