Gabriel and Jo give into their feelings, Zinnie causes trouble for Michael, and Stella exposes Raymond as a sexist.
It's charity football match day and Raymond is still struggling to find players for the team. Leo, on the other hand, is cocky and looking forward to annihilating the opposition. Behind the scenes, Joanne continues with her plan to cause a rift between Gabriel and Leo so that she can persuade Leo to sell his 90% share of the arcade to Lenny. Lenny puts the pressure on but Joanne is confident she'll seal the deal today. Joanne works on Leo, making him think that Gabriel fancies her. Slowly Leo starts to think that she could be right. Meanwhile, Joanne and Gabriel's bickering turns into a flaming barny which, in turn, reignites their old passion and the couple have sex. Unbeknownst to them, Molly has seen spotted them.
Joanne and Gabriel are shocked by their behaviour but both admit they've been hiding from their true feelings all this time. They confess their love for one another and decide that they must leave Shieldinch together, that night, to spare Leo's feelings. As Joanne and Gabriel's excitement grows, Molly heads straight to Lenny and tells all. Lenny then asks Joanne how her plan is going. Joanne is evasive and back-pedals which makes Lenny suspicious that she has changed her mind. Not to be done out of a business deal, Lenny makes for the football game and tells Leo that Gabriel and Joanne are having an affair.
At the match, a fight breaks out between Leo and Gabriel and Leo reveals to the crowd that Joanne has been unfaithful with Gabriel. Gabriel apologises to his brother but explains that he loves Joanne and he is going to be with her. Leo thinks that Gabriel has simply worn Joanne down. He also reveals to Gabriel that Lenny and Joanne have a plan, Gabriel has just been their pawn. Gabriel doesn't believe this but when it's confirmed by Lenny his faith in Joanne starts to waiver. Gabriel confronts her and Joanne confesses that she did have a plan with Lenny but that doesn't matter any more. Joanne pleads with Gabriel, she loves him and wants them to make a fresh start together but Gabriel doesn't think he can trust her anymore. It's heartbreaking for both of them as he breaks things off. Meanwhile, Leo also has plans to leave and sells his share of the arcade to Lenny. He comes to Joanne and offers to take her away from Shieldinch. It may not be the romantic exit she had planned, but Joanne realises that she can't hang around in Shieldinch after today and leaves with Leo.
Zinnie is still annoyed at being blamed for Conor and Adeeb's antics last week and sets about some general minxyness. She deliberately makes Michael feel uncomfortable when she walks about the house scantily clad. Michael complains to Leyla, about it using the boys as an excuse. When Leyla then asks the boys about it she discovers they didn't even see Zinnie, it is Michael, not them, who is uncomfortable. Leyla confronts Michael. Zinnie, meanwhile, relishes the trouble she has caused and further upsets Nicole by suggesting Michael is a dirty old man.
Raymond annoys Stella when he won't let her play in the charity football match, on account of her being a girl. Stella, Robbie and Charlie plot revenge and convince Raymond that Robbie is a star striker. At a critical moment in the game Robbie runs off the pitch to be replaced by Stella who scores a goal. Raymond is forced to concede that Stella is a great player and he makes her "person of the match".
