European finance ministers thrash out a new 109 billion euro bailout package for Greece, but has the country effectively defaulted on previous lending agreements?

Presented by Andy Verity and Mickey Clarke.

European finance ministers thrashed out a new 109 billion euro bailout package for Greece, but will it be enough? Our business reporter, Steph McGovern, and Carsten Brezeski, a senior economist at ING, join us live from Brussels.

Despite this latest life-line, has Greece effectively defaulted on previous lending agreements? To explain more, we speak to Vanessa Therrode, a partner in structured finance at the law firm SJ Berwin.

Finally, with all eyes on the eurozone, the question of US government debt still looms. It currently stands at a record high of 14.3 trillion dollars. We are joined by Jeffrey Cleveland, a senior economist at investment fund, Payden & Rygel.
