Can an emergency meeting in Brussels with the top 17 European finance ministers find a solution to the widespread debt crisis? We speak to a former European Central Bank economist as well as president of the British Hellenic Chamber of Commerce.

Are credit rating agencies having a negative impact on economic policy? A House of Lords committee report out today says the agencies are not to blame for the eurozone debt crisis. Chair of the Lords EU Economic and Financial Affairs committee joins us.

Finally, a new Commission is to set out a 10 year strategy for economic growth in the north of England. We are joined by one of those leading the Commission - the director of the Institute for Public Policy Research North.
