The Artemis Quartet are joined by composer and clarinettist Jorg Widmann in one of a series of concerts given at Wigmore Hall, London, featuring his own music. Widmann the composer is featured first, with one of his works for string quartet, after which he appears as performer in the Clarinet Quintet in A by Mozart. The concert concludes with a performance of Schubert's sombre Death and the Maiden.
