C91热爆

Kidnapped

C91热爆 brings an all-star cast to the screen in 2005 with an adaptation of Kidnapped, Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale.

Iain Glen stars as Alan Breck and James Anthony Pearson as Davie Balfour in Stevenson's tale of treachery, romance and rebellion, along with Paul McGann as Colonel McNab, Adrian Dunbar as Uncle Ebenezer, Gregor Fisher as James of the Glens and Kirstin Smith as Catriona.

Kidnapped chronicles the adventures of Breck and Balfour as they escape murder and shipwreck on a quest for justice, all set against the fierce social and political backdrop of 1760s Scotland.

The 91热爆 is working with South Pacific Productions (makers of the Oscar nominated film Whale Rider) on location in New Zealand.

Serious Arctic

Following the success of the RTS award-winning Serious Jungle and last year's Serious Desert, C91热爆 presents Serious Arctic, a new six-part documentary series that promises to be the most challenging Serious expedition to date.

Serious Arctic follows eight intrepid teenage volunteers as they spend three weeks in the Canadian High Arctic where their mission is to help scientists by collecting crucial data linked to global warming.

They will measure - for the first time - one of Canada's most southerly glaciers and help the endangered polar bear.

Four girls and four boys were selected from nearly 10,000 eager volunteers.

Serious Arctic documents the adventures of the eight as they get the chance to experience this once in a lifetime opportunity.

Their tough journey sees the keen youngsters tolerating the most basic and harsh conditions, including travelling over 100 miles by dog sled and living in conditions of 50 degrees below zero with wind storms of up to 70 miles per hour.

Planet Cook

Planet Cook is a creative cookery adventure show for kids.

Hosted by Captain Cook - also known as Kevin Woodford (Ready Steady Cook) - its mission is to defeat boring meals and bring fun food to kids everywhere.

With the help of his culinary sidekick, a yeti called Bouma, and the Cook Cadets, Captain Cook aims to banish boring food and in each show send a Taste Transmission to the world.

With recipes inspired from the natural world, from Australian spiders to erupting volcanoes, Captain Cook and the Cook Cadets must complete the recipe before the timer runs out.

Newsround - Islam Week

Newsround is planning a week of special programmes looking at what life is like for young Muslims in the UK and around the world.

Muslims have found themselves in the headlines regularly since the events of September 11 2001, and many feel they are portrayed unfairly.

How much do children generally understand about the Muslim faith?

The week starts with a Newsround Extra featuring the findings of research commissioned by the Newsround team to discover children's attitudes towards Muslims in the UK, and also what's thought to be the first national survey amongst British Muslim children.

The programme also features Press Packs (reports from children themselves).

The rest of the week looks at stories such as the growth of Islamic hip hop, and asks young people in the Arab world what they think of the UK and the US.
