Academy - Simone Stewart is expelled
Simone
Stewart from Harrow became the fifth student to be expelled from
the Fame Academy tonight (Saturday 23 August) after 17 days in the
Academy.
Cat
Deeley and Patrick Kielty introduced strong performances from nine
students live on 91热爆 ONE before inviting viewers to vote for their
favourites.
The
students sang Bee Gees classics for the live showdown followed by
an exclusive performance of You Win Again from Robin Gibb who was
joined by students Alex, Paris, Alistair and Louise.
The
viewers' vote saved Alistair, Barry, Alex, James, Peter and Louise
leaving Paris, Simone and Carolynne with their fate undecided.
Panellists
Robin Gibb, Richard Park (Head Teacher), Carrie and David Grant
(Vocal Coaches) voted unanimously to save Paris.
The
final choice was left to the students who decided to save Carolynne.
She who won six of the seven votes after singing Guilty.
Simone
lost her Academy place after singing Heartbreaker receiving only
one vote from her Academy peers.
The
eight surviving students return to the Academy and will all sing
live again on Saturday 30 August on 91热爆 ONE at 6.35pm.
The
results show will follow at 8.20pm, at the end of which another
student will have to leave.
