Walsh, boss of Girls Aloud, talked exclusively to Claudia Winkleman
on Fame Academy on THREE on Wednesday 13 August.
This
is what he said...
"There
is an unbelievable standard on Fame Academy, the highest I have
seen on any pop programme. They're not predictable like Will and
Gareth."
"There
are four people in particular with great potential and star quality.
Paris is my favourite with Peter a close second. Alex and Carolynne
are my third and fourth. Louise would have to be my number five."
"Attitude
is the most important thing. But they have to want to be stars."
"If
some of them don't make it to the final three, they should get together
and form a band."

Paris - "This guy's a star. I love his voice. He's better than
Craig David. He's got the voice, the look and the attitude."

Carolynne - "I like her. She reminds me of one of the Corrs.
She'd be great in a band. She is great as a solo artist but would
be great as the front woman of a band. She is far better looking
than Kym Marsh."
On
Lorna - "She's the underdog. She's a great singer. I think
she'll make it to the final five or six."
On
Gary - "He reminds me of Gareth Gates. He should join a boy
band. Lee from Blue is in trouble, they should replace him with
Gary!"
On
Louise - "She is gorgeous looking and incredibly friendly.
I would absolutely have had her in Girls Aloud."
On
Alex - "She's got the looks, the attitude and the hair. She
is fantastic, a real star. She will definitely get a record deal."
On
Peter - "He uses the stage brilliantly. He's like a young Mick
Jagger. He's going to be a big star. You can pass on my number if
he wants a manager!"
