North Norfolk coast is always a good birding site, but in the autumn it is a place
you mustn't miss especially the 10 mile stretch of coast between Snettisham on
the Wash to Titchwell facing the North Sea.
All along this coast
there are great opportunities to look for migrating birds. | | | The Scillly Isles are an archipelago of some 150 islands and
rocks. Their position makes them great for birding. | | | - Bardsey
is nationally and internationally important for wildlife especially migrating
birds in the autumn.
| "Lots
of animals are on the move during autumn. Some, like deer, travel small distances,
from uplands to more sheltered groundÂ… Ìý "Others are super
trans-continental long-haul travellers. In the UK this means we get the chance
to witness some great spectacles involving literally thousands of migrating birds." |
