A Polish mother and her teenage daughter battle over a shameful family secret on the perilous sands of Morecambe Bay. Can they confront the truth before the tide cuts them off? A play by Zosia Wand about heritage, slippery memories and the secrets we keep to survive.

Artist Hannah Fox and film maker Richard Berry, both from Cumbria, have produced a dreamy visual accompaniment to the audio drama.

Close-up movement from local actress Mathilda Kenny provides the human detail that combines with sweeping drone footage of the epic Bay, a landscape animated by wind, light and tide.

Screened at The Forum, Barrow and broadcast on 91Èȱ¬ Radio 4 at 14:00 on Monday 28 September and available to Listen Again on 91Èȱ¬ Sounds.
