K CLUB - Hot news, There's a special treat in store for us all later today.

Mind magician, conjurer and all-around psychic supremo will be joining us LIVE on the blog about 1630 this afternoon.

Jamil, the mental coach for a host of top stars and a key cog in the European camp this week, will be answering your questions, so fire them in now, using the usual comment form below.

Remember, this is the man who earlier this week asked the Europeans each to draw a picture of Colin Montgomerie, and then correctly stated who had drawn what.

So get your questions and we'll chat to Jamil later on. (Mind you, if he's any good he'll already know what you're going to ask him!)

Hi Jamil , Glad to see those years of toil at Dorcan paid off and you are successful and well thought of.
My Question is how positive is David Howell on his game ahead of Friday and have you given him stick for going to Churchfields?

All the best mate.

Jamil,

I have two questions if thats ok? What do you think is the greatest distinction in mental attitude between those who are successful and those who fail on tour? and
How have you advised your players to approach an extreme mental test like the Ryder Cup?

What sort of questions would you ask and how much information would you need about a player to make a guess at his or her handicap ?

There was considerable speculation that during the late 80's early 90's that the Swedes were working/experimenting on producing a kind of self induced trance for "staying in the zone" during competition but had found it hard/draining to produce this on multiple days and at differing times of day (Mats Lanner & Joacim Haegmann - sp? were supposed exponents)
Their results were apparently very good, some very streaky amazing scores for 2 or even 3 rounds of a 72 holer, but couldn't sustain it for 4 rounds over 4 days.

Now I have noticed that in the majors Tiger seems to be in a vastly different mental and physical state than for a normal event, glassy eyed, staring face and often a "coldy" tone in his voice?

Are there such methods being used this week by the Swedes/Europeans (given short duration matches/event) and/or is their any "chat" that Tiger might use any such methods in Majors?

P.S. Wouldn't it be a nice legacy if Tiger had learnt such a skill from his dearly departed Dad?

As some who suffers over chipping and pitching what advice can you give to clear the mind of negative thoughts.

What are some of the mental exercises you give the pro's. I pick Stenson to star and Europe to win by three points

All the best

As a 7 handicap golfer my game is in free fall and i feel like the Willie Thorn of snooker ie good in practise, not so good on the course. The negative thoughts come mostly in the putting especially from inside four feet. How can i feel like i do in practise?

Hi Jamil
My handicap is 10 but I have been told that I have a 5 handicap for my long game but an 18 handicap for my short game(with the exception of my putting which is good) the reason is that I have developed a yip on my chips and short pitches and this can cost me up to 5 shots per round. Do you think the yips are cureable and if so how should I go about it?
