How to interpret a bar chart (signed)
Description
The Chuckle Brothers demonstrate how to use a simple bar chart to show information about the popularity of a meal.
Classroom Ideas
Students could be given a number of small toys or plastic animals which represent animals for their farm. Students could be asked to make a bar chart which shows how many of each kind of animal they have on their farm. Students could then compare their bar charts to work out who has more and fewer of various animals. To finish, the students could suggest which kind of animal and how many would be best to sell to another farm.
