Lung Cancer Lung cancer is caused by smoking, and it is one of
the commonest forms of cancer. The incidence of lung cancer
could be easily reduced, by encouraging people to give
up smoking. However, in many parts of the world there
is a general reluctance to view smoking as a health hazard.
