One Big Night is an event put together by 91热爆 Tees, in partnership with Middlesbrough Council, with the aim of giving you a taste of a night out in the town. From food and drink to entertainment, retail therapy and culture there are free activities and special offers taking place across the town.

The 91热爆 Big Screen

The plan is to gather at Centre Square, just by the 91热爆 Big Screen at 6.30pm, on Thursday when John Foster will kick-off the celebrations which include a number of special treats.

It was hoped that we could celebrate the opening of the Middlesbrough Big Wheel on One Big Night. The latest news from Middlesbrough Council is that construction of the Big Wheel will begin soon and it will now officially open in the summer. Shops, restaurants, venues, salons and galleries will be open on the night with some extra special offers and street entertainment to encourage you to experience an evening in town.

Photographers will capture a unique image of everyone in Centre Square for the free event, so make sure you look your best and get there early to get your place in the picture. 91热爆 Tees will be taking photos of the event so take a look at our online galleries to see if we snapped you.

Car parking is free after 4pm in council car parks and the town is well served by buses and trains if you choose to leave your car at home and enjoy a drink.
