KS1 English: Little Red Riding Hood

The story of Little Red Riding Hood told in seven fun video clips for children aged 5-7 years old. The animation is accompanied by a suitable for use at home or in school.

In this classic tale, Red Riding Hood bakes a cake for her Grandma who lives in a little cottage in the woods. But when her mother injures her ankle Red Riding Hood must take the cake to her grandma on her own鈥nd there have been rumours of a wolf on the prowl in the woods鈥

Red Riding Hood goes to the village shop and hears stories of a wolf in the woods.

1. I love red!

The Wolf is hungry and creeps towards the village, looking for something to eat.

2. Wolfie blues

Red Riding Hood and her Ma make a cake to take to Grandma's cottage in the wood.

3. Cake for Grandma

Red Riding Hood walks through the woods where she meets a creature in a straw hat.

4. Stay on the path

The Wolf races ahead to get to Grandma's cottage before Red Riding Hood arrives.

5. Wolfie went a-walking

The Wolf locks Grandma in the attic and awaits Red Riding Hood's arrival.

6. What big eyes you've got

The woodcutter has a plan to catch the Wolf and make sure he never returns.

7. The big bad Wolf has gone
