Monster
Can you hear them? They’re knocking on your door. Let them in – the hurt, the enraged, the disembodied, the returned. Listen closely. They’re all around you. But be careful. There’s nowhere to run once you let the monsters into your home. WARNING: CONTAINS FLASHING IMAGES

The Inside Story

Turn down the lights, turn up the volume, and prepare to be afraid. The perfect way to spend a dark evening this winter!

What happens when the dead return looking for answers and someone to blame? When they take possession of your home and infiltrate your devices, leaving you wondering how much is real and how much is in your own imagination.

In Brad Birch's Monster, we join Cerian and her daughter Delyth as they struggle to deal with a recent bereavement, with the pain that holds them both prisoner and with the demons that refuse to leave them alone.

About the technology

Monster makes use of innovative orchestrated audio technology to surround you, putting you front and centre. It’s a multi-sensory experience with light, visuals and sound.

You create and control the impact of the horror by connecting as many everyday devices (laptops, phone and tablets) as you can, deciding how closely and from where you want to experience the terrors that emerge.

Monster lasts about 30 minutes. For the best experience:

  • Turn the lights off or down low.
  • Take your devices off silent mode and turn the volume up.
  • If possible, make sure that your phone won’t go to sleep during the piece.
