What is it?
This delightful little app is a really novel way for Eisteddfod-goers to explore and get a new perspective on the event. The app is intended to enrich the experience of anyone visiting Cardiff Bay during the festival, and to make it more accessible to non-Welsh speakers who want to learn more about the Eisteddfod.
Using experimental technology, it offers a range of fun and informative experiences for specific locations around the Bay. There is something for everyone, with 7 trails you can download for free, including:
What are you trying to learn?
The App helps us to test how location specific content using AR technology can be delivered. It was created in collaboration between the 91热爆, S4C and the National Eisteddfod of Wales, with contributions from a range of partners (see in-App info for credits). Using this App will help the 91热爆 and its partners to learn about how this technology could be used to offer new kinds of services in the future.
To give you the best experience, this App uses your location and camera to deliver mapping and augmented reality content. Make sure that you are in a safe environment when using AR. Read our Safety Information at: http://policy.pilots.bbcconnectedstudio.co.uk/eisteddfod-ar-eng/terms.html#safety
